What we collect

We keep this to the minimum we need to run the studio.

• What you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topics you select, and your message.
• How the site is used. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site. It collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, your approximate location (city level), your device and browser type, and the site that referred you.
• Standard server information. Our hosting provider records basic technical data, such as IP address and browser type, when pages are requested. This is used for security and keeping the site running.

How we use it

• To read and reply to your message.
• To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Google Analytics and cookies

When you first visit, we ask whether we may use analytics cookies. If you accept, we load Google Analytics, which uses cookies (small files stored in your browser) to recognize repeat visits and measure activity on the site. The information is sent to Google and processed according to how Google uses data from sites that use its services. We keep Google's advertising features turned off, and we set data retention to the shortest period available.

If you decline, we don't load Google Analytics and nothing about your visit is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time: cookie settings. You can also turn off cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to operate the site. They process information only on our behalf:

• Formspree delivers contact form submissions to our email. Their privacy policy.
• Google provides Analytics, described above.
• Vercel hosts the website.
• Our email provider receives and stores messages sent to hello@kimuralabs.com.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need to respond and to maintain ordinary business records. Google keeps analytics data for a limited period. We've set that to two months, the shortest option available. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@kimuralabs.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You can also limit analytics as described above.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
